GCE Students participated in the Human Rights and Journalism Camp in YPSA, Chittagong 

Yet another Youth Journalism and Human Rights Camp was held in Young Power in Social Action (YPSA) Centre, Chittagong from 25th till 27th January 2009. The camp was designed to introduce Journalism and human rights issues to secondary and higher secondary level school students in Bangladesh. A total of 25 participants from Comilla and Chittagong attended the camp. Topics covered during the camp included Journalism, basic issues of Journalism, relationship between human rights and Journalism, use of Information and Communication Technology (ICT) in promoting Journalism, importance of photojournalism etc. The camp participants also visited Kumira in Sitakund, Chittagong where they collected information about the lives and livelihood of an indigenous community.
