Components of this Project target rural reporters and media professionals, students, civil society organisations and individual human rights activists with an interest in promoting accountability regarding human rights.

Through this programme, broad segments of Bangladeshi civil society are able to express concerns about human rights issues efficiently through the media; consequently, Bangladeshi society as a whole benefits, particularly those members most deprived of human rights, including those living in rural areas, women, children, handicapped, poor, non-English speakers, and members of ethnic minorities.
